Once: install and connect#

  1. In the menu click Setup desktop utility, check that Your platform is right, and click Download for …. Run the installer.
  2. Back in the dialog, click Register desktop utility. The utility opens and signs in as you. (Or copy the Desktop application token from System → Applications and paste it into the utility.)
  3. When the utility is signed in, the header button turns green: Connected. Then plug in the reader; the Add product dialog tells you if the reader is missing.

Write one tag#

  1. Open Products → Add new, keep NFC Tag and Single mode, and pick the asset.
  2. Place a tag on the reader. The admin panel shows the type of the tag on the reader.
  3. Fill in the product's values and click Write. Wait for "Tag written."; the new product's page opens.

Write a batch#

  1. Switch to Multiple mode, pick the asset and upload your file (or fetch the records from your ERP). Keep Save import ticked.
  2. Map the fields, fix highlighted rows, and click Generate.
  3. Place the first tag, wait until it is written, remove it, place the next. Progress and any errors are shown per row; use Retry failed at the end.
  4. Interrupted? Open the same asset in Multiple mode again and click Proceed to continue where you stopped.
